My Journey into AI Programming: From Freelancer to Developer

My Journey into AI Programming: From Freelancer to Developer
As a freelancer, I’ve always felt there are too many unfulfilled ideas in my life—those inspirations for overseas programs, practical tools, cross-platform applications, like doodles scattered in a sketchbook, waiting to be brought to life.
That’s why I decided to step into the dynamic world of AI programming, even though I’m just a beginner who’s barely crossed the threshold.
Many around me wonder why I’m starting from scratch at this stage. Maybe it’s that stubborn drive in my bones to never stand still.
What’s even more fortunate is that I met Teacher Hui—a young person ten years my junior, yet with a technical acumen far beyond his age.
Learning programming from him feels like a hands-on "copycat" course:
- He types a line, I follow with a line;
- He breaks down a project’s logic, and I fumble to take notes beside him.
Every step, from building my first webpage framework to debugging my first AI interface code, comes with the 惊叹 of "so that’s how it works".
This blog is my "growth diary"
From now on, I’ll honestly record my progress here:
- Which mini-program feature I replicated with Teacher Hui today
- What bugs I ran into while developing an AI plugin tomorrow
- Maybe a screenshot of a fledgling overseas tool
- Or a repeatedly revised prompt code
All my clumsy attempts and small achievements will be laid out here unreservedly.
Why share publicly?
I chose to share publicly for two reasons:
- To give myself some "supervision" as motivation
- To hope these records reach more people—whether indexed by Google or stumbled upon by fellow developers
If by chance someone likes my ramblings and wants to follow my journey from "copying the gourd" to "carving my own", that would be a delightful surprise.
After all, every great developer starts by "carving bad gourds", right?
Feel free to drop by anytime and watch me turn those wild ideas into lines of running code.
